The Greatest American Gymnasts Ever on the Uneven Bars
Hai, Sabrina.🏅
As good as Rebecca is there no way Simone won’t be taking gold for floor and vault unless she had some type of major error
Why do I feel like this creator favours andrade? I saw the other vault gold video too and the way they phrased the words are quite interesting. Andrade's 14.666 is better than Simone other scores but not Simone's best. I do not know what is the comparison here.
Because he's brazilian too 😂
He’s Brazilian
he is brazilian (so I am) and he roots for Rebeca, but he is making these videos for every apparatus. in a normal day, simones floor is undoubtedly getting gold. but in these videos the creator is trying to bring us the two athletes with the hightest chances of getting gold and silver.
Didn't simone got 15.100 on aa finals at worlds?
I think bars will be the hardest final, with all gymnasts competing for medals( we can't say the same for other events where the golds and silvers are sure)
Gold Biles, silver Aandrade and bronz the mexican
Biles gold, Andreade silver and bronz I hope VOinea
I Hope bronze for Flávia ♥️♥️
Flavia merece muito a medalha
@@Silva_Danilo noooooi
Same here. I'm brazilian but I don't really like Flávia Saraiva.
@@breno7049 She doesn't need you to like her! The world loves Flávia's gymnastics and she can achieve several podiuns in Paris and with luck she will emerge victorious.
No battle here I see for floor gold.
It's obvious who deserves gold on floor (if she doesn’t have a bad day), but I don’t trust the judges anymore. They’re capable of pushing another contender to the throne. 🙄
🥱
@@mariusa.5863 You have expressed similar sentiments before, and although I see all the 'adjustments' FIG has made to the sport in the present COP as a CONSCIOUS effort to make team finals in WAG in particular more a competition and curtail the US and Simone in particular's dominance in the sport, I don't think they can do much else to facilitate someone else as a winner on those apparatuses which she is favored. She has been the ONLY wag to have posted a 15 on floor and the ONLY ONE who we could REALISTICALLY expect to do so. She has been able to win floor under THREE DIFFERENT COP's now and that would not change in Paris if she is fit and healthy.
Simone brought back her biles 2 on floor and it is beautiful. She also have the stag jump on her biles 1 on floor again. That’s brings her difficulty to a 7.1 on floor.
@@shellyjackson5780 If that is going to be her score on floor then it is LIGHTS out for everyone else for sure. I knew she would have brought back the BILES II on floor and I am convince she will be performing ALL her named skills at Paris as I believe it will be her LAST at least from an AA perspective. My hope is that she and everyone else remains healthy and fit. Too many really medal worthy gymnasts have suffered injuries that are going to prevent them from competing at Paris and it is a crying shame.
I know we would love to see more complex vaults but vaulting has a very HIGH incidence of career ending injury! So if we never see these vaults to a hard landing lets not blame the gymnast. I would rather they have a longer career than a career ending injury.
Not to forget Qiu scored 15,566 in the Chinese nationals with a clear 7.2 D score, without any crediting issues. And the Chinese judging is quite strict.
qqy is going to paris with 7.2 we have to wait to see if the judges are going to underscore her routine like they always do to chinese gymnasts and credit nemour with that non existent 1/2 turn to give her a shot to win, because everyone knows that qqy has better execution plus more dificulty. people should just STOP watching gymnastics if they can’t understand the sport and put their favoritism ahead of what’s right
Calm down, not everyone can be an expert in the sport they enjoy watching like you apparently are. Plus, the CoP is not objective. There’s so much more to a routine that can’t be captured in scores. So if someone prefers the performance of a gymnast that doesn’t end up on top, what’s the harm?
Wasn't Simone shown to be training the Biles I again? If she can regain that skill she'll be an unstoppable beast in Paris
High bar + Pak × Uneven bars battle
Qiu Qiyuan's execution is usually much cleaner than Kaylia Nemour's, and Kaylia's score is always dependent on whether she gets credit for that half turn skill or not.
That Derwael-Fenton deserve been credited.
@@marwahussein666no way, you guys never said this before, now just because QQY has a higher start value all of you are desperate
@@thiagomelo7425 I only started saying this after Baku. And in the Antwerp qualifications. I even think she got credit for that Derwael-Fenton on qualifications.
@@thiagomelo7425 I know you love China and cute 16-year-old Chinese girls, but there's nothing surprising about a chinese winning a final that her country has dominated since Ma Yahong. Kaylia is impressive because even France doesn't really dominate this sport. Not to mention her influence on MENA gymnastics now, and her change of nationality that encouraged French-Algerian athletes to compete for Algeria with pride.
@@marwahussein666 She's still not really initiating that half turn before she catches the bar in mixed grip, so it doesn't deserve to get credited...
World Cup score is more authoritative than DTB score. Both are good bars workers. FIG makes the whole quad the bars quad so they are smart.
É um Biles I?
It comes down to who hits the best vaults that day even though Simone has the upper edge.
Yes, however, she needs to land the double pike a Lil better then we have seen because each large step back (larger that shoulder width) is .05 in deduction. So 2 large steps back is 1 whole point off.
Simone is replacing the cheng with her Biles 1. So if Simone hits both her vaults she wins period 🎯
Yes u are right! But she gotta hit them.
I love them both for reaching into their back pocket for harder vaults. May the best on that day nab the gold.
If she lands both of her signature vaults she will win GOLD
Queen Cătălina .🌷🏅
Simone could've easily done it and still can but honestly there's not enough incentive. WAG vault is a snooze fest.
Simone is training the Biles 1 so the Cheng is not the harder vault she might compete.
I hope Simone brings back the Biles 1 vault and drops the Biles II yurchenko double pike.
Then what would she compete for her second vault. She needs both
@@Ajay.Plants She does not need both in my humble opinion, she just needs to land her YDP or BILES I and the Cheng.
@@aliciamcdonald7105 Biles 1 and Cheng are from same family round off half on. She can do a Blies 1 and Amanar but not biles 1 and Cheng.
Yes two vaults from two different familys of vault.
So excited to see our queens compete again. Simone’s difficulty level with her new skill is just insane. So if she lands on her feet twice, she’ll probably reclaim her title.
YES!! A battle royal indeed. Here you have two ladies who have both won one Olympic vault title and 2 WC vault titles each and they are sure, if both are fit and healthy, to end up on the podium. Rumor has it that Rebeca is bringing a NEW VAULT to Paris which would be truly great to see especially if it is not already in the COP, while Simone who is just known for upgrading vault every Quad is also rumored to be bringing a BILES III out on vault. Not sure what Yeo will be doing for Paris, but I hope she comes out 'swinging' as well and may the best woman WIN!!
I heard Simone is training both her vaults and she's getting comfortable with the Biles 2 without Laurent on the mat,
@@DoreenBwalya-uc8vewell if she lands that double pike without Laurent it’s over for everyone else. Even with her fall at worlds she still would’ve beat Rebeca. It was the .5 penalty for her coach that kept her from gold
@@DoreenBwalya-uc8ve Yep. When she initially debuted this vault he was never part of the picture, but then Tokyo happened and she apparently still had reservations of doing a lot of her complex skills internationally. It was good that she eased herself back into the spotlight and now that she has gotten her first international competition after Tokyo out of the way, she would be more confident now to get back to her level. As such, I expect to see in addition to a no Laurent on mat for YDP, a return of the Fabrichonova on bars and the BILES II on floor.
Pra ela, vale a pena fazer.
She's lovely hair styles in a lot or most of the times she's competed.
It would be ridiculous if they valued it at 5.8 considering the YDP is a 6.4 and they're both the same DV in MAG
YDP should have been higher in MAG. Now that MAG cares so much about viewership, they have to urgently increase the value of double back elements on floor. They should do the same on vault.
I'm assuming and hoping it would be given a 6.0 start value. If it's a 5.6 for men, they shouldn't value it just .2 more than it's worth for the men.
I think Aimee trained Simone very smart. (TTY and the Triple Front Tuck was over rotated in her early days and could have absolutely been named after her)
" *I think Aimee trained Simone very smart* " YES!! I think this is ONE of the MAIN differences between Simone's gymnastic journey and that of Rebeca's. Rebeca was clearly a talented young lady from the get go but I firmly believed she was not coached well and not paced properly. Simone on the other hand truly struck GOLD with Aimee as a coach. For me, she is the reason behind Simone's success. Until the Landis are able to bring Simone that AA, vault and floor gold at the Olympics, they will always be second rated in my mind to Aimee.
The gymnast from North Korea looks like she may pull it off in the near future. Gotta say that they have some really good gymnasts there and even their rhythmic gymnasts in 1992 were excellent. Then their economy went under and we saw nothing for years.
Interesting it'd be a 5.8 and yurchemko double pike is 6.4. They're both 5.6 in MAG
Actually Yurchenko double pike should be higher in MAG. Women's vault is shorter so double tuck / double pike are way difficult than triple twist.
The world is regressing on vault except a couple of gymnasts, so we won't see that in the nearest future. Even the number of successful Amanar is ZERO at 2022 & 2023 worlds.
On beam as well
What's up with this!? I can watch the 1991 world's and witness harder gymnastics. It's so annoying watching DTY on vault in 2024.
@@stevensmith8242 Leg events are injury-prone so many people concentrate on bars and beam instead. FIG makes this quad a bars quad, so people are stacking difficulty there. Floor is a dumpster fire. Vault is a high scoring event but it's still less than bars.
I don't agree with this. Back in 2008/2011 vaulters like Barbosa and Pavlova were considered strong athletes and both suffered to master the amanar-cheng's combination. Actually it's very rare to achieve two strong vaults, not even Alicia, Aliya or Maroney got to upgrade the DTY or Mustafina/Lopez (I would guess only a few bunch of gymnasts got the chance to put it together - Rosu, Cheng, Biles, Paseka, Carey, Skinner, Rebeca, Chusovitina and Hong un Jong / although I consider the double twist tsukahara and the chusovitina/yeo very complex vaults as well)
@@angelinafreiredossantos8800 In the past, three DTY or other 5D+ vaults are compulsory for top teams. Now they are struggling to put three 5D+ vaults, so that's not true. Besides that most of those gymnasts are from 2017- era. After 2021, the world regresses a lot on vault.
I'm not surprised Alex Mcmurtry was doing this skill. She's always been such a powerful gymnast.
I’m glad she was firm in her decision not to try elite and have a normal childhood because she avoided so much abuse. But man imagine what a beast she would’ve been on the world level. Certainly would’ve been that girl on vault and floor!
Hong Un Jong did try the triple-twisting Yurchenko in the vault finals at the Rio Olympics. She wanted to get it named for her, but the judges decided she didn't quite get it all the way around, plus she fell. Gutsy move on her part - with an easier vault she would presumably have medaled.
Difficulty in 2013-2016 WAG CoP for a triple twisting Yurchenko was 6.3. LInk to Hong Un Jong's vault in Rio ua-cam.com/video/AirQbT3DZ0c/v-deo.htmlsi=c8aNecP29nz49I-d
They gave 6.8 to the TTY at Rio, but counted as an Amanar (6.3)
@@ShyTygerGuy Wrong it was a 6.8 in Rio quad.
3. Difficulty Value: INSANE. How bout that?
The mere fact that very few WAGS are performing the Amanar these days tells me that next to nil would be willing to perform the TTY outside of the gym. Having said that, I would love to see Rebeca give it a go, if only to get her name in the COP somewhere. Yet, having suffered three ACL injuries during her career, that might be a lot to ask of her. Even so, she and Simone are the only ones who I think can successfully land this.
It seems the woman from North Korea had it. Too bad she didn't compete it. Don't think she ever will, considering she's 35.
I rather WAGs learn a Cheng / Biles vault than trying a TTY. A Biles vault is 0.2 lower than TTY in MAG, but 0.2 higher in WAG.
@@Recash5hong un jong is well into retirement, unfortunately. She was actually pretty decent on floor too.
Would have loved to see McKayla Maroney try it
She had beautiful height!
DL on floor: beautiful. DL on bars, horrible. Especially how the Chinese bar workers. Absolutely no amplitude and looks like a paint stick fly through the air. I think the trend is rate highly skilled but dangerous elements as low as you would expect so not to encourage dangerous risks. We don’t want another Julissa Gomez or Elena Muhkina situation.
I’m happy that MAG starts rewarding those double or triple back skills. At least there’s a higher chance to see this skill in MAG.
I missed this young woman 👧. She's pretty darn good. Her beam work is impressive 👏 changing direction on the tumbling quickly. Very difficult
REALLY NICE ON THE 50 ' 60' ect...TOO IL HAS CHANGED (évolué but great) thanks BY FROM FRANCE
THANK S GENIAL SEE YOU SOON
That video of Simone has been floating around for awhile....how old is it? I doubt she'll take the risk... this Olympic year anyway.
It’s from 2019 lol
This is such a hard skill because the stretched position slows the rotation of the body dramatically and requires huge height on the dismount in order to get all the rotations in before hitting the mat. Given that all the examples we saw here were still landing in the pit implies that no one - not even Simone - is nearly ready to try this in competition. I'm sure that someone will manage it one day, but given how the FIG has been underscoring these incredibly difficult and dangerous skills, whoever manages it will do it strictly to get it into the COP and not for the score bonus it might offer.
Patricia Moreno y Hatakeda hacen 3.5 realmente
Se fosse possível fazer 1 layout + 1 mortal carpado daria certo kkk
